Nathan Paul Womack
Nathan began his tech career at Boston College, with a fascination for computers beginning long before working for the college’s information technology department.

Talk about “real life” education – this was back in the mid-90s when Microsoft was making the jump from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95, and before Steve Jobs joined Apple (again).

Post college Nathan began a worldwide career with IBM, traveling as a business consultant all over the United States, Europe, and parts of South America. His 9 years with IBM involved three distinct career phases. The first was as a hard-core developer (picture a young man hunched over the keyboard of a computer, in a dark room, with a pizza box on one side of the monitor and a can of Coca-Cola on the other, madly typing away for 15 hours a day). The second phase was as a Business Analyst, where he bravely acted as the conduit between the client (helping them to document what they want the application to do) and the developer (helping them understand how to code the application to the specifications of the client’s business). The third phase involved the corporate ladder, management. Working as a project manager, Nathan guided teams both on and off-shore to a common business goal.

While working full-time, Nathan earned an MBA and continued his education by taking classes for a project management certification to more clearly understand the scope and breadth of time lines, milestones, and deliverables.
When Nathan approaches a client now as a solo consultant, he wears three hats; project manager, business analyst and developer.

Nathan is an avid outdoor athlete, competing in triathlons all over the country, skiing down the Colorado rockies and mountain biking where no man should go. He resides in Boulder, CO with his wife and soon-to-be puppy.
